Windshield is Still Modeled Incorrectly

Post by dreampage » Sun Apr 09, 2023 12:06 pm

This is a rebuilt cockpit in the A320 ceo, yet the windshield panels have the same issue as on the A319 and A321. The glass panels don't fit into the window frame, instead they are outside of the airframe and there is a gap around every glass panel.

You can see the issue on this photo if you magnify it: https://imgur.com/a/8zeJeJs

Also, you can put the showcase camera close to the windshield glass panels from the outside and see that they are all outside their frames and not placed correctly. This has been an issue ever since the A321neo was released and was never corrected. It's also somewhat distracting during flight, seeing the gap between the glass panels and the window frames.

This is not something that will be 100% perfect, as the cockpit and the fuselage are of different dimensions when they were done. We will try to improve and make perfect as much as we can with the next updates.

I hope you can fix this as the current state of the model conveys a lack of attention to detail. In the past you've also stated that when you rebuild the cockpit this would be addressed. I hope you will still manage to fix it as this would affect all of your products for the better.

Ok so we have revised this completely and should look good on an update. Our apologies
