A339 engine problem

Post by Anonymous1999 » Sat Apr 13, 2024 12:26 am

I found out that while flying on crz altitude both engines tend to "go crazy" theyre not shuting off but it looks like theyre not getting fuel and "trying to shut off" but when having apu and apu bleed turn on hole flight its not happening as much

strange, no APU should be on whilst on cruise, unless you lose one of the engines or special situations.

you have the engines in AUTO-THROTTLE whilst you fly?

Yeah engines are in A/THR. Everything looks good after takeoff and sudently N1 of sometimes both engines goes nuts. Then you have to fly on apu with bleed on just to keep engines running

The problem is still here. I found out the only solution is to keep APU running and having ENG selector on IGN position. Whem i turn APU off and put ENG selector into norm position N1 and N2 goes crazy (no specified engine its just random) and EGT drops to smth like 37° which is why the plane looses close to all of its power. For me prlersonally it makes flying 339 unpleasend
