New terminal for SCEL?

Post by wiss » Sun Oct 07, 2018 2:21 am

Hello everybody

I read in the other forums that SCEL will be receiving a new version for P3D v4. As you probably know, now there is a huge construction work at the airport. Basically in 2020 the Terminal 2 will be finished, with the first pier being opened in december of this year. Also many new taxiways and aprons have been opened during this year.

Will this new version of SCEL include the new taxiways, aprons or the new terminal or any part of it?

Thanks

Yes, everything that is new according to the master plans for 2020 will be released in this brand new version of SCEL.

And as a matter of fact nothing from the previous SCEL will be in version 2.

Great! … I am excited waiting for the new SCEL for P3Dv4.

Does exist a Santiago City download to add or will be in the new scenery?

We are doing a few important skyscrapers in the Santiago area... the tallest skyscraper in South America will be also included in the package.

Hi Cristiano, thank you for your comments. At the moment a 32bit version is not planned. What happened with SCEL v2 in P3dv4 is amazing, we had such great performance that we over did in detail so much so that it did not affect performance so we did not have any sort of limit whilst designing, but this is because it is 64 bit, and only possible with p3dv4 and in the area of Santiago Chile.

So bringing down to p3dv3 or FSX is almost impossible... but lets see. thank you Cristiano.

It doesn't mean SCEL became released for P3Dv4 right?

WOW! just purchased and installed in P3Dv4.3...…. a beauty Art Work marvelous!
I was reading the manual and It recommend to remove the v1 from FSX why? I thought maybe SODE issues?
I have fs9, FSX and now P3Dv4.3 and in all SCEL a wonderful jewel.
Many Thanks Ricardo for your artistic work bringing a dream to all Pilots.
